27th Annual Nutcracker
Call for Auditions!
**Please note that effective 9/9/21, we will be reframing this Nutcracker production as a demonstration of the history of the Nutcracker showcasing Saratoga City Ballet and local dancers. Children ages 5-18 are invited to audition on September 11 at Saratoga City Ballet. The audition fee will be waived. A participation fee for those cast will be required. Details regarding the showcase will be forthcoming.**
Saratoga City Ballet will be performing a fantastic, full length Nutcracker at the majestic Hart Theater at The Egg, Empire State Plaza, Albany NY: Saturday, Dec. 18 at 1:30 and 7:30 pm
Auditions will be open to the public.
Students of ballet and modern, ages 5 (must be in Kindergarten) through adult are welcome to audition.
Auditions will be held as follows:
Saturday, Sept. 11th:
Saratoga City Ballet Studios 4295 Route 50, Saratoga Springs
(Schedule subject to change)
10:00-11:00 — 5/6 year olds (must be in kindergarten)
11:00-12:00 — 7-9 year olds
12:00- 1:00 — 10-12 year olds (pointe shoes if you have them)
1:00- 3:00 — 13 and up (please bring pointe shoes if you have them)
3:00-4:00 — adults
$25 Audition Fee
Note: Dancers will be notified of parts the week of Sept. 13th and a full rehearsal schedule will be published. All participants will be required to pay a production fee and sign a volunteer commitment.
