We are also thrilled to announce two new additions to our teaching staff – Leslie Kettlewell and Pamara Perry.
Leslie Kettlewell is a classically trained dancer and Skidmore grad who studied ballet in England and France as well as with the world renowned dancer Melissa Hayden. Leslie has taught at area schools including Saratoga City Ballet and the School of the Arts. She will be teaching Pre-Ballet, Ballet I and Creative Movement.
Pamara Perry’s classical foundation and technique comes from working with world-renowned instructors including George Balanchine, Robert Joffrey, Alexandra Danilova, Andre Eglevsky, Stanley Williams, Felia Doubrovska, Diana Adams, and Suzanne Farrell. She has worked with The New York City Ballet Educational Department and performed worldwide as a principal dancer with The Joffrey Ballet. She has taught at Skidmore, Russell Sage, Siena, and Adirondack Community Colleges, Ballet Regent, The Capital Ballet, Saratoga City Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and at a summer Joffrey Midwest Workshop. Pamara directed The Lexington Ballet Company prior to moving to upstate New York and served as Artistic Director of the Adirondack Repertory Dance Theatre for 30 years.
