As we begin our first full week of dance classes in 2019 we wanted to take this opportunity to thank our entire Saratoga City Ballet family.
In the Spring of 2014 Saratoga City Ballet was very close to shutting its doors. We lost our studio space and our school directors decided to pursue other endeavors. In an incredible leap of faith, our board of directors rallied together to keep founder Patti Pugh Moore’s dream alive. In the span of 5 years, we re-opened in a brand new space, added new classes, welcomed new students and incredibly talented and dedicated teachers. We ended 2018 with our 25th Anniversary Nutcracker Production which was a success beyond all our expectations! (We still can’t believe we sold out the Egg!) (And check out all the great press from The Times Union, The Schenectady Gazette, Spotlight News, Saratoga Living and The Daily Planet).
We couldn’t have done any of this without the support of our community, sponsors, board members, volunteers, teachers, school director, artistic director and especially our dancers and their families.
We can’t wait to see everyone back in the studio and look forward to new students, new productions and an exciting year of dance!
