arharlequinWhile the Saratoga City Ballet typically plays to sell out crowds, ticket revenues provide only a portion of the funds necessary to produce our annual performances as well as the various outreach programs SCB takes part in every year.

Every year, SCB gives performances, free of charge, at area organizations to raise the awareness of the arts in the community as well as provide entertainment and exposure to those who do not have the resources to attend a classical ballet performance. We perform regularly at the YMCA for their after-school program and have performed gratis at Saratoga First Night for over 5 years to support the YMCA and its programs. We have also done free performances at the Wesley Retirement Community, the Saratoga Children’s Museum and at various charity events.

The SCB regularly donates free tickets for our Nutcracker and Spring productions to area charity fundraisers and organizations so that a wider audience may experience the ballet, some for the very first time.

Costs for our productions are extensive and run the gamut from simply buying new ornaments for the Nutcracker Christmas tree to constructing a new tutu for the Sugar Plum Fairy. Patrons of our performances provide the vital support needed to meet the challenges of each season by becoming Friends of the Saratoga City Ballet. No gift is too small and every bit counts toward ensuring that this local company continues to bring quality ballet to the greater Saratoga community.

We offer several options for those wishing to become a patron of the Saratoga City Ballet. For more information, please contact us at
